Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) Kohima unit has strongly condemned the alleged rape of minor girl on July 9 at Tsiesema, Kohima, inflicting physical and mental trauma to the girl child.
In a condemnation note, KNSK Kohima unit president, Kemya Yanlem and general secretary, Yongmei Konyak appealed all sections of the society to raise voice against the rape and condemn the incident.
The union further urged the law enforcing agency to book the culprit under appropriate sections of law and award befitting punishment.
