A “Women Collegepreneur Programme” aimed to empower young women in entrepreneurship was won by MRKSA Fusion from Kohima College. The event was organised by EduCentre School of Business (ESB) on December 12 at Espace, Dimapur.
A press release by ESB stated that the during the programme, additional director of Industries and Commerce, P. Tokugha Achumi commended the students for embracing entrepreneurship. He highlighted the government’s commitment to allocate 25% of funds exclusively for women.
ESB informed that “Women Collegepreneur Programme” provide seed money of Rs.10,000 to female students, encouraging them to ideate and execute innovative business ventures. It informed that Studio Elysians & Co from St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama was the runners-up while MRKSA Fusion from Kohima College and Zenith Enterprise from Unity College were recognized as the “most popular team”, and Scent Sampler from Tetso College claimed the title of the “best team”. It may be mentioned that ESB serves as an incubator under “Startup Nagaland”, department of Industries and Commerce.
