Kohima DC notifies land for acquisition

Office of Kohima deputy commissioner (DC) has notified for general information that a land measuring 4,100 sq metre and 5,640 sq metre /61,306 sq feet at NH-39 near Old KMC dumping site below Jotsoma village in Kohima district was required for re-alignment of road diversion.

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9 (2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition Act 1965 and Acquisition Act, 1884, DC Gregory Thejawelie, as duly authorised by the State government as competent authority, notified that if any person/party had any claim or objection over the plot, the same could be submitted to his office within a period of 30 days w.e.f the date of this notification as per the following schedule: North – private land, South – private land, East – private land and West – private land.
