Kohima district administration & INTCWS advent Christmas

Kohima district administration along with sister departments within the office premises celebrated advent Christmas on December 13 at deputy commissioner’s office compound, Kohima.

According to DIPR report, delivering the Christmas message, the DC Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie said that celebrating the advent Christmas was to prepare “our” souls on how well “we” prepare ourselves to recieve the blessings and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Adding that the celebration should ensure the happiness of the one who has saved “us” from sins, he encouraged the gathering to share love and happiness out of their heart not with the people who have but to share with people who do not have sufficient, whereby Christmas will be more meaningful.  
The programme organized and sponsored by Kohima district administration was chaired by Medoneisa Chadi while invocation prayer was offered by Rakalung and scripture reading by Ketoulhoutuoü Rame. Christmas gifts were also exchanged with bonfire. 
INTCWS: Meanwhile the India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society, (INTCWS) Notun Bosti, Dimapur under its Education wing, Libra Consultancy celebrated pre-Christmas programme on December 16. God’s blessing was invoked by its member Hitol Swu and the society chairman thanked the members for tireless services and sacrifices made by all for uplifting the tribal people, especially in creating awareness and counselling students towards achieving quality education.
