Kohima District Badminton Asso. launches coaching sessions

KOHIMA, MAR 19 (NPN):

The Kohima District Badminton Association (KDBA) has announced the commencement of its ongoing badminton coaching sessions, aimed at enhancing the skills of players across all levels. The programme officially began on March 16, at the Indoor Badminton Stadium, Officer’s Hill, Kohima.
The initiative is designed to provide structured and professional training under expert guidance. With badminton steadily gaining popularity both as a competitive sport and a high-intensity fitness activity, the sessions focus on building strong fundamentals and advancing technical skills.
The curriculum includes training in essential areas such as footwork, grip technique and advanced stroke play, while also emphasizing tactical court awareness to help players improve their overall game performance.
Registration forms for the coaching sessions are available at two locations: the Sports Inventory Centre opposite the Indoor Badminton Stadium, Officer’s Hill and Urban Bay Sports at Beits Plaza, New Secretariat Road.
