District Youth Resource Officer Kohima under the Department Youth Resources and Sports Nagaland will be organizing Kohima District Level Youth Festival at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on September 28.
District Youth Resource Officer, Kohima, Viruokuo Zumu informed that the festival will witness folk song and folk dance competition.
The maximum number of participants for folk dance will be 15 and minimum 10 while for the folk song the maximum will be 10 and minimum 6.
The competition is open to youth of Kohima district in the age group of 16 to 29 years.
Folk dance winner will get Rs. 5000 while second position will get Rs. 3000.
Folk song-1st prize- Rs. 3000 and 2nd- Rs.2000. The winner of the festival will get the opportunity to represent Kohima district at the State Level Youth Festival which is to be held at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima from October 2 to 4.
