Kohima district open shooting postponed

Kohima District Shooting Association (KDSA) has informed that the 7th Kohima district open shooting competition 2024 has been postponed due to election code of conduct for the upcoming Lok Sabha election to be held on April 19, 2024.


In a press release, KDSA president Visasielie Suohu informed that the association has rescheduled date of competition, which was to be held on May 4, 2024. Following events would be conducted in this year’s edition—1. 10m Air Rifle peep sight, men and women (senior – junior); 2. 10m Pistol – men and women; 3. 10m Air Rifle open sight (open to all).


Further, KDSA has informed that shooters selected in the competition would represent Kohima district team during the forthcoming Inter district shooting championship 2024, which would be held in June 2024 at Aries Rifle and Pistol shooting academy, Bamunpukhuri-Dimapur.
