Aggrieved land owners of Kohima-Jessami 2-lane construction packages 2, 3 and 4 temporarily called off “peaceful agitation” and opened the office of NHIDCL PMU, Pfutsero on Monday.
Convenor of aggrieved land owners, Kuveluyi Chuzho, said that the decision was made after the intervention of minister, KG Kenye, Dr. Neisatuo Mero, MLA, and district administration. The landowners, therefore, appealed to the authorities to finalise the proceedings and pay due compensations to genuine landowners, failing which, they would take “further course of agitations and actions”.
