The All India Thal Sanik Camp (TSC) competition recently culminated at DGNCC Camp at New Delhi in which 17 cadets of the state participated as part of the NCC Directorate North East Region team.
A press release from 24 NCC Nagaland stated that the cadets included eight girl cadets from 1 Nagaland Girls Bn and nine boy cadets from 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC located in Kohima.
The release added that this has been largest ever number of NCC cadets from Nagaland qualifying for the competition. The cadets got to compete with NCC cadets from the rest of the country during the competition. In the ten-day long competition, the cadets participated in obstacle races, map reading, health & hygiene written test, judging distance field signal, tent pitching and firing competition.
The cadets who had arrived from different parts of country were also taken on a visit to important places in the capital.
