Kohima police hands over recovered mobile phones worth Rs.5.86 lakh

DIMAPUR: Continuing its commitment to public service and community policing, Kohima Police has successfully recovered and returned a total of 33 lost and stolen mobile phones valued at approximately Rs. 5.86 lakh.
According to PRO of Kohima Police, the police completed the handover of all 29 mobile phones recovered over the past one and a half months.
Earlier, 17 mobile phones worth around Rs. 3 lakh were handed over at South Police Station, while the remaining 12 mobile phones valued at Rs. 2.14 lakh were returned to their rightful owners on June 1 at North Police Station.
Prior to these recoveries, Kohima Police had traced and returned four more mobile phones worth Rs. 72,500 to their owners.
Through these sustained efforts, Kohima Police reaffirmed its dedication to safeguarding public property and strengthening community trust.
