During the one month period in April, Kohima police personnel have arrested 41 persons for not possessing Inner Line Permit (ILP). In this connection, Kohima police have registered 22 non-FIR cases in the same month. According to Kohima police PRO, Atu Zumvü, all the arrested ILP defaulters were booked under section 3 and 4 of Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation Act, 1873 (BEFR) and forwarded to court. Cases have been registered with North police station.
