Kohima police nab three persons

Chiephobozou police personnel have arrested one person for transporting illegal liquor on January 21 at around 1830 hours. The consignment was detected during surprise checking at National Highway 2 from a vehicle (Bolero) bearing registration No. NL-07-8883.
The accused person has been identified as Nibato Yepthomi (36), son of Yekhato of Kuhuboto village under Diphuphar Police Station, Dimapur. Police recovered 59 bottles of MC Rum and 120 nos of Kingfisher canned beer.
A regular case vide Chiephobozou PS case No. 0003/2015 U/S 44 NLTP Act has been registered against the arrested person.
In a separate incident, Kohima police have arrested two persons namely Rajesh Sah (40), son of Devilal Sah of Paruana village (Bihar) and residing at BOC, Kohima, and Sabul Uddin Mojunder (32), son of Moran Ali Mojunder of Rongpurpi village in Silchar (Assam).
They were arrested on the charges for illegally transporting suspected illegal immigrants in the state capital without ILP and with forged ILP. The arrest was made basing on FIR lodged at North PS Kohima on January 22 by the All Nagaland Taxi Association Kohima Unit (ANTA).
A regular case vide North PS Kohima case No.0005/2015 U/S 474/511 IPC has been registered against them and they are remanded into police custody for further investigation.
