Personnel of DEF Kohima manning Khuzama check gate have intercepted one Kohima bound Maruti Alto Car (Local taxi) bearing Registration No NL-01T/7488 and arrested one person with 130 kilo of contraband ganja on February 20 around 11 a.m.
The arrested person was identified as one Gulo alias Elo Kaina (19), son of Lokho from Kalinomai village, Mao Gate of Senapati district and currently residing at Seikhazou Colony, Kohima.
Case in this connection has been registered case vide Khuzama PS Case No. 0003/2015 U/S 20 (1) (i) (ii)(b)(c) NDPS Act,1985 and the accused has been remanded in police custody for further investigation.
In another incident, one Sanjay Sahani (30), son of Bastu Sahani from Motihari village (Bihar) and currently residing at D Khel, Kohima village, was arrested on February 20 for molesting a Naga lady under the influence of alcohol near Razhü Point, Kohima on February 19 around 2 p.m.
Accordingly case in this connection has been registered at North Police station, Kohima under Case No. 0013/2015 U/S 354 A(1)(i) I.P.C and remanded in police custody for further investigation.
