Acting on specific intelligence, Kohima Police recovered a dumper truck reportedly stolen from Assam and apprehended the driver on June 14 during an operation by Chiephobozou Police Station.
According to the Kohima Police PRO, the vehicle was intercepted swiftly, and the accused driver is currently in custody.
Police sources confirmed that both the stolen truck and the driver will be handed over to Assam Police, who are enroute to Kohima to take charge.
