Highway Patrol Party of Kohima Police on July 31 intercepted one Maruti Gypsy (white colour) without number plate/documents at Peducha area and seized marijuana about 218 kgs.
In a press release, Kohima police PRO informed that the consignment was neatly packed in black polythene of 24 packets. In this connection, PRO said two persons namely Feles Kholi (28) son of Ngaoni Kholi of Lai village, Senapati district Manipur and NG Tarsus Khaisü son of Lt. Ngaopuni Khaisü of Lai Village, Senapati district Manipur were arrested for illegal transportation of the seized items.
PRO informed that a case has been registered at Sechü (Zubza) Police Station for further investigation.
