Kohima Police manning Peducha check gate while conducting routine checking and frisking of vehicles intercepted one Tata Sumo (AS-04F-8981) and recovered 30 kilos of contraband ganja worth Rs. 1,50,000 (national market).
According to SDPO (S) and PRO Atu Zumvü, in this connection, one person identified as Neli Mao (55), son of late Nokhre A. Neli, Chakumi village, Senapati, Manipur was taken into police custody and a regular case have been registered against him for conducting further investigation.
