District Intelligence Branch of DEF Kohima has seized 520 bottles of assorted Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from one blue coloured Maruti Van (NL-01-3236) on March 12 while checking vehicles at Kidima Junction.
According to a release by sub-divisional police officer & PRO Kohima police Atu Zumvü NPS one person identified as K.P Souo Solomon (21) son of Punu of Lakhamai village under Manipur was apprehen ded in this connection.
Police said he was taken into police custody on the charge of illegal possession and transporting banned IMFL and a regular case has been registered against him and remanded into police custody for conducting further investigation.
