Kohima Science college, Thailand varsity sign MoU

Kohima Science College Jotsoma (Autonomous) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Surindra Rajabhat University, (SSRU) Thailand at the conference hall RCEMPA, Jotsoma, Monday.
Under the MoU, the two institutions would work together to further academic objective for three years.
It also aim to promote better understanding between the faculty and students of KSCJ and the faculty and students of SRRU.
The MoU was signed by principal KSCJ Dr. I. Anungla Aier and acting president SSRU Dr. Acharya Phanurat. 
Each institution would also designate a liaison officer to develop and promote specific activities and programmes. 
At KSCJ, the office of the principal, KSCJ will oversee the implementation of the MoU and at SRRU, the Asia studies institute will oversee the implementation of the.
Principal KSCJ Dr. I. Anungla Aier in her address thanked SRRU for coming forward and said the signing of MoU was to expand higher education. She said it was a step forward to achieve the vision to upgrade post graduate in the college.
SRRU acting president Dr. Achara Phanurat in her brief address acknowledged KSCJ for signing the MoU.
Parliamentary secretary higher education, Deo Nukhu while acknowledging both the institutions for entering into MoU also expressed hope that the MoU would help, promote both the institutions.
Around 21 students and seven teaching faculties of SRRU, minister counsellor Tharadol Thongruang are currently in Kohima. The team would also be attending the inaugural day of Hornbill festival.
