Koinonia Baptist School hosts 4th annual sports week

The 4th annual sports week of Koinonia Baptist School (KBC) was held from March 25 to 27, bringing together students and teachers in a spirited celebration of sportsmanship and unity.
Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo, senior pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church and principal of Kohima Bible College, graced the occasion as the special chief guest. The programme began with an invocation by assistant pastor Zashekho Hibo, who encouraged students with a message based on I Corinthians 9:24–27.
Headmistress Ketholeno welcomed the guests, stressing the importance of sports and discipline in the holistic development of children. The inaugural programme was compered by Pekrubeinuo and Neikhrietuo.
During the opening ceremony, the four houses took the oath of sportsmanship administered by Seyielhoulie Solo. Highlights included a pompom drill, lighting of the torch, and special song presentations.
Teachers actively participated in various events, leading their respective houses, while friendly matches between teachers and students added to the enthusiasm and camaraderie.
The three-day event witnessed keen competition among the four houses and concluded on a positive note, promoting values of healthy competition, resilience, and mutual respect among students.
