Konyak Union elects new team

Konyak Union (KU) on Saturday held a handing and taking over of files ceremony in the office chamber of KU president, Mon headquarters.
In a press release, KU general secretary Manpang K Wangyen informed that during the programme, Tingthok Konyak was elected as president, H.A. Hongnao Konyak and Y. Chingwang Wangsa as vice presidents, Manpang K Wangyen as general secretary, TP. Pongyao Konyak and N. Chingyem Konyak as secretaries along with Bumang Phaiba as finance secretary and Thangwang Konyak as treasurer for the tenure 2022-2025.
The newly elected office bearers of Konyak Union have appealed for cooperation from all the sections of the people, both government and nongovernmental organisations.
