KPA hosts AMBIORA 3.0 fest celebrating technology and culture

Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) successfully hosted its annual Technical and Cultural Festival, AMBIORA 3.0, on September 29 to 30, under the theme “Bridging Bytes and Beats.” The two-day festival highlighted the harmony of technology and tradition through a blend of technical competitions, cultural showcases, and entertainment.
The Zero Session, held on September 29 at the institute auditorium, was chaired by Er. Manu Chiero, Member of the Organizing Committee, who emphasized that the theme reflects the partnership between technology and culture in shaping the future. “The bytes stand for knowledge, innovation, and the digital frontier, while the beats represent rhythm, tradition, and the pulse of community life,” he said.
Day one featured technical competitions including Lathe Operation & Welding, Robotics, Technical Paper Presentation, and Bridge Making. On day two, events expanded to include plenary sessions, model exhibitions, graphic designing, folk dance, war cry, stilt bamboo race, and an indigenous go-kart race.
Principal of Government Polytechnic Doyang, Wokha, Er. V. Julia Achumi, graced the occasion as Guest Speaker, stressing the importance of skills and innovation in bridging societal gaps. Earlier, Er. Neisekho Chaya, Principal of KPA, welcomed the gathering and encouraged students to utilize the platform to showcase their talents. Students and faculty of Government Polytechnic Doyang also participated in the exhibitions and competitions.
The entertainment session featured vibrant performances by students and faculty, along with a special act by guest artist VK Khusoh, who enthralled the audience with his popular track “Your Style.” The festival concluded on a high note, fostering creativity, collaboration, and the spirit of innovation, while reinforcing the importance of preserving cultural traditions alongside technological advancement.
