Kohima Press Club (KPC) and Dimapur Press Club (DPC) mourned the demise of Aneile Kenye, wife of Oken Jeet Sandham, senior journalist & member of KPC Advisory Board on November 14.
In a condolence note, KPC said Aneile was diagnosed with brain tumor (meningioma) in June 2009 and following a surgery, she subsequently slipped into a coma in August 2009. She was bedridden for 14 years, out of which she spent 11 years in ICU at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima and the remaining years at home till she breathed her last.
KPC extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. DPC extended condolences to Sandham and his family during the difficult time and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
