KPC installs new team

 New team of office bearers for Kohima Press Club (KPC) for the tenure 2019-22 has been installed on June 1 at Kohima Press Club office, Naga Club Building, Kohima. 

A press release from Kohima Press Club general secretary Atono Tsükrü stated that during the function, outgoing (acting) president Atul Sarma expressed his gratitude to the members of the club for the support extended during his tenure. 
He also congratulated the new team and called upon them to strive for the welfare and growth of the press fraternity so that future generation of journalists will be benefitted. 
The new president, in her brief address, lauded the outgoing team for successful completion of the term despite many unforeseen challenges, including the sad demise of the serving president Xavier Rutsa in June 2018.  She expressed hope that the members of the club would extend similar cooperation and support to the new team. 
The team is led by Alice Yhoshü as president, general secretary Atono Tsükrü along with three others.
