Kipi Qomi Welfare Society (KQWS), a non profitable NGO based in Dimapur with a branch in Zunheboto, organized a leadership training program for minority women (non residential) on September 29 in Zunhebotto, sponsored by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India under the scheme “Nai Roshni”.
A press release from the organizing committee chairman, Henito Sema stated that the resource person for the programme, Hosheli Q spoke on the topic “Swachh Bharat”. She spoke on the importance of cleanliness and that it mainly depended on the womenfolk as keepers of the home.
She also spoke on legal rights of women and domestic violence and said every woman should raise their voice against it. The meeting was attended by around 30 women from different colonies of the town.
