Minister, planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs, Neiba Kronu Friday inaugurated Tepfulomi Village under Phek district. The village was recognised by the state government in the year 2021.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Kronu said Pfütsero has huge potential to grow through tourism and called upon the people to make a united effort to realise the potentials of the Sub-Division. Kronu also thanked the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for recognising the village and applauded the consensus decision of the people and the village recognition committee for their efforts, which led to recognition of the village.
The village dedication prayer was said by Rev. Bulechü Koza; Wokha District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Pfükrulhou Koza thanked all the neighbouring villages for giving “No Objection Certificate” towards the recognition of Tepfulomi Village; Khezhakeno Village Council, chairman D. Lhouchinyi shared greetings while a brief history of Tepfulomi Village was shared by convenor of village recognition committee, N. Neilo Pulo Koza. The programme was chaired by secretary to the government of Nagaland, Kevekha Kevin Zehol while prayers were said by Khezhakeno Baptist Church Pastor M. Khupo Koza and CRC Khezhakeno Lower Pastor T. Kodonyi Ritse prayed. Khezhakeno Baptist Church (Youth) and Tepfulomi village presented folksong and welcome song respectively.
It may be noted that Tepfulomi was bifurcated from Khezhakeno village under Pfutsero Sub Division of Phek district after the state government accorded recognition of Tepfulomi village through a notification issued in 2021.
