KROS college free medical camp held

KROS college health committee had organized free medical camp in collaboration with National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) on August 13 where more than 350 people benefited.The camp targeted residents of Leirie and Leirie Chazu areas, with an aim to create greater understanding about modern lifestyle diseases and fitness in the emirate. The free initiative, held at KROS College campus, featured doctors from various clinic and healthcare professionals from PHC. 
Earlier in the inaugural programme, lecturer i/c health committee, KROS College, Keliihol Tase chaired the programme, district nodal officer, NTCP, Dr. Arenla Walling gave PowerPoint presentation causes and harmful effects of tobacco.
