KSOK holds conference; elects new team

Kohima Sümi Officers’ Küqhakulu (KSOK) held its annual general conference at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, on November 23.
KSOK through its media cell stated that Rtd. DIG, State Vigilance Commission, Nagaland and former president Kohima Sümi Officers’ Küqhakulu (KSOK), K Shiwoto Wotsa congratulated all retired Sümi officers on completion of their service and those promoted to higher ranks. He also urged the union to take the opportunity and serve people with honesty and dedication as responsible officer.
Pointing out that there are many NPSC, UPSC and other competitive exam aspirants among the Sümi community, he suggested the qualified candidates in the competitive exams and officers having experience to organize seminars and workshops for those aspiring candidates.
Engineer-in-chief NPWD, who is also the outgoing president of KSOK, Er. Kahuli Sema, expressed gratitude to all the office bearers and members for the successful tenure during her presidentship. Sema also extended best wishes to the new team and thanked the pioneers who had established the union and enable them to come together through this platform.
The new office bearers for the tenure 2023-24 would be led by Warren Holohon Yepthomi (DC Commissioner Office Kohima) as president, Vikiyeto Noel Jimomi (accounts officer APC Cell) as general secretary and other members.
Senior pastor SABCK, Rev. Dr. G. Kiyeto Sema bestowed God’s blessing for the retired Sümi officers, who were recently promoted to higher ranks, former, present and new office bearers of KSOK.
