KSON appeals government to restore damaged road

A portion of the road between Samziuram and Saijang villages which connects more than 30 villages under Ahthibung jurisdiction to its district headquarter Peren and the commercial town of Jalukie has been wiped-off by landslide for the second time on Tuesday.
A press note by Kuki Students’ Organisation Nagaland (KSON) media cell stated that denizens of the area did mass social work road repair on Monday but unfortunately, the same problem persisted owing to rainfall.
KSON in this regard has stated that without involvement of the government and heavy machineries, the problem has become too enormous to be fixed by the local people.
Therefore, KSON has fervently requested the concerned authorities to fix the problem as soon as possible as thousands of denizens including the student community of the area are badly affected.
