Konyak Students’ Union (KSU) has urged the state government to order investigation into the “mysterious murder” of late Wango, whose body was recovered at Khatkhati, Assam September 9, 2023.
KSU said the deceased, who booked his ticket at Blue Hill bus counter Dimapur for September 6, was supposed to reach Mon on September 7.
However, KSU said he had gone missing, only to be found “brutally murdered” after two days. Condemning the inhuman and barbaric act, KUS hoped that truth would prevail and appealed to the law enforcing agency to arrest those involved and penalise as per the law.
Meanwhile, KSU expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
