KSUD organizes cultural exchange programme

The Khiamniungan Students’ Union Dimapur (KSUD) organized a vibrant Cultural Exchange Programme under the theme “Strengthening Cultural Affinity”, at Stone Garden, NEZCC, Chümoukedima.


In a press release, Khiamniungan Students’ Union Dimapur through its media cell stated that the event was a celebration of unity in diversity, bringing together representatives from seven tribes to showcase their unique cultural traditions and foster inter-tribal harmony.

President of the Naga Council Dimapur, Etsungmomo Kikon, graced the occasion as the special guest, while president of the Eastern Nagaland People’s Union Dimapur, N. T. Thamlong Phom, attended as the guest of honour. Both leaders emphasized the importance of cultural collaboration in building a stronger, united society and lauded the initiative taken by KSUD.


The programme featured a rich array of traditional performances, attire exhibitions, and indigenous cuisine, creating a platform for cultural learning and mutual respect among the participating communities. The event concluded on a high note with renewed commitments to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Naga tribes.
