Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro (KTBL) organized a special prayer programme for differently abled persons on November 18 at Kiphire town under the theme “You are Special” with associate pastor, Alison Sangtam as main speaker.
A press release from KTBL secretary, Horiba stated that the speaker in his message encouraged the differently abled persons saying that they are created by God for a special purpose and therefore should be thankful for what has been blessed.
He quoted from the book of John 9:2-9 and said explained that born blind or deaf are not because of the curse from God but to declare the mighty work of the Lord through him or her.
Earlier, the programme was led by Children Ministry board chairman, Lipise, invocation was said by prayer committee, Aliba, special song was presented by Tsaliba, a handicapped and Children Ministry department. Special prayer was initiated by pastor KTBL, S. Chopongkyu, while a word of acknowledgment was said by advisor Handicapped Union Kiphire, Tsasemong.
Altogether, 11 differently abled persons attended the programme and the Church presented them with a special gift.
