KU of Tobu, Mopong declare non-cooperation

Konyak Unions of Tobu and Mopong have resolved to “issue non-cooperation with the group” responsible for the  May 25, 2019 ambush that took place between Changlangshu and Ukha villages in Mon district. In the ambusth, two Assam Rifles personnel were killed and four others injured. According to a joint statement issued by president of  KU(B) Tobu S.A. Ngamlao and Yangkon president  KU(B) Mopong, the resolution was adopted at the joint consultative meeting held at the residence of S.A. Ngamlao on May 30. The joint meeting was attended by KU office bearers and advisory board members of both the branches. Further, both the unions have directed all village councils under its jurisdiction to comply with the resolution.
