Konyak Union (KU) would stand with the Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) till the Foothills Road project was fully accomplished. This was resolved at the joint consultative meeting of the two organisations held at KU head office, Mon town on Thursday on the ongoing Foothills Road construction under SASCI, particularly focusing on Naganimora and Tizit divisons.
It was also resolved that the KU would summon at earliest all firms that had got the work orders in Tizit and Naganimora divisions to sign the implementation agreement with the NFHRCC, for which the NFHRCC had kept the agreement under the custody of KU to be signed by the firms/contractors.
NFHRCC expressed gratitude to KU for exercising immense wisdom and for unceasing concern towards NFHRCC. This was stated in a press note by committee’s convener Supu Jamir, general secy W Lemba Chang, co-convener Hokiye Yepthomi and asst general secy Chenithung Humtsoe.
