Kuda village observes 75th village day

Kuda village observed its 75th village day here Friday, at its council hall.
Speaking at the programme, former Naga Council Dimapur president Savi Liegise, lauded the Kuda village members and paid tribute to the pioneers for their timeless effort in forming the village.  He encouraged the gathering to recreate Kuda village in unity and truth and take pride to be a part of the village in the days to come.  He also challenged the young generation to have a vision so that they would be able to contribute something valuable to the society.
The programme was followed by welcoming of the newly elected members for the tenure 2016-21. The new team was led by Achubu Meru as president, Vizielie Nagi as vice president besides three other members.
Earlier the programme was chaired by village chairman Alhoulie Belho, exhortation was delivered by V. Bano Sakhrie while the annual report was delivered by Kuda village, newly appointed secretary, Vikie Nagi.
