Kuda village sets deadline for obtaining ILP

In view of reports of the alarming presence of non-indigenous persons in Dimapur district without Inner Line Permit (ILP), the Kuda Village Council (KVC) has directed all non-indigenous persons residing in Kuda village to compulsorily obtain Inner Line Permit (ILP) from the office of the deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur within 30 days from the date of issue of the notification.
In the notification dated May 13, Kuda Village Council secretary Megolhubei Savino also appealed to all Khel chairmen, Khel officials, GBs and youth bodies to ensure that all non-indigenous persons residing within their respective jurisdictions were enrolled for ILP.
The village council said that the notification was in line with Home department’s notifications of December 9, 2019 and March 6, 2020.
