Through your esteemed daily, I would like to acknowledge the commendable initiative undertaken by the Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Forum (DUCCF) in clearing and cleaning major drainage systems in and around Dimapur covering several colonies over the last few days.
Such dedicated public service contributes greatly towards sanitation, flood prevention and the welfare of the common public. The efforts of DUCCF set a worthy example of social responsibility and community service.
It is also hoped that other organizations and community bodies will emulate the meaningful services rendered by DUCCF and actively contribute towards the welfare and betterment of society.
