With the aim to provide accessible, free and safe drinking water to citizens and students, Kuhuboto Town WATSAN Committee constructed water drinking tap/storage at GHS Junction Kuhuboto, which was financed by PHED Dimapur.
The facility was inaugurated by PHED executive engineer, Tongpang Longkumer.
Longkumer in his address appealed the committee for proper utilization of the grant provided by the department.
He also appealed the local bodies for cooperation in the works undertaken by the department and assured of any help in future.
WATSAN chairman Kuhuboto also spoke on the occasion and expressed gratitude to the department and further highlighted the urgent needs and difficulties faced by the citizens.
Inaugural prayer was pronounced by KTBC youth associate pastor, Hevitoli Yeptho.
Later, delivering vote of thanks, KTCJ chairman, Yetoshe Aye, thanked the department for the various works undertaken and assured further cooperation for proper development and welfare of the town.
