Kuda Village Council (KVC) Dimapur has appealed to the residents of Kuda village to refrain from bursting of firecrackers during this festive season. In a press release, KVC chairman, Vikie Nagi has advised the residents to comply with the circular and also with the advisory issued by the Commissioner of Police.
In a separate press release, the KVC has also condemned the robbery that took place at Bandhan Bank Ltd, Kuda village on December 18. KVC said that such “brazen criminal act was an affront and assault to the principles of peace, security and justice” when the village has been working hard to uphold. It therefore, appealed to the concerned authority to leave no stone unturned to bring the perpetrators to book and justice be served at the earliest.
