Kiyeto Village Council (KVC) has condemned the alleged murder attempt on April 29 by one Kakuto of Khehoi village, on his in-laws using a gun, which resulted in the injury of his mother-in-law.
In a condemnation note, KVC chairman Honito Sumi and head GB Benjamin Sema, while vehemently condemning the “vile act”, extended their appreciation to the police personnel for their prompt action in nabbing the accused, with cooperation of the Khehoi village authorities.
KVC urged upon the law enforcement agency to take up the case with extreme regard and award exemplary punishment to the culprit.
Further, KVC notified all to desist from bailing out the accused, saying whoever does so shall be held responsible for any untoward incident that may arise in the future.
