KVK Dimapur conducts training on dairy farming

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Dimapur, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, organised a three-day off-campus training on “Profitable Dairy Farming: Best Practices for Small Holders” from July 16 to 18 at Bade village.
The training was coordinated by Chief Technical Officer Dr Ebibeni Ngullie. Topics covered included breed selection, feeding, housing, disease management, financial planning, and record-keeping. Dr Ngullie also addressed issues faced by farmers in related livestock sectors such as goatery, piggery, and poultry.
Altogether, 20 farmers participated in the programme, which concluded with distribution of certificates.
