KVK Kohima holds Scientific Advisory Committee meeting

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kohima held its 15th Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting on January 20 at KVK Conference Hall.
A press release by KVK Kohima stated that during the meeting, principal scientist and head, Dr. Ruokuovilie Mezhatsu briefed the gathering about the SAC meeting and presented a detailed annual progress report of KVK Kohima from January 2022 to January 2023.
The proposed Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the year 2023-24 was presented by ACTO (GPB), Dr. Martina Shitiri. After thorough discussion and deliberation, the house unanimously approved the AAP 2023-24.
The meeting was chaired by district agriculture officer, Tseminyu, Ruovilhou Riilho and was attended by deputy commissioner Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi besides various districts officers of agriculture, animal husbandry & veterinary services, sericulture and other line departments, progressive farmers, farm women club and farmers producer organization. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by ACTO (animal science), Dr. Paihem Michui.
