KVK Zbto conducts NCIPM program

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Zunheboto, Nagaland University, conducted NCIPM, New Delhi sponsored a training programme on integrated pest management on fruits and vegetables on February 19 at Litta new village. 

A press release from KVK, NI senior scientist and head Dr. Rakesh Kumar Chaurasia stated that resource person of the programme, ACTO plant protection Toshi Longkumer highlighted on the need of IPM in pest management and explained different tactics to be adopted in insect pest management methods.
Sprayers, yellow sticky traps, bio-pesticides and vegetable seeds were distributed during the programme. A coffee farm in the village was also identified and adopted for IPM. Altogether 53 farmers attended and benefitted in the day long programme.
