KVYO commends success of Hornbill Carnival Parade

Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has expressed gratitude to all who contributed for making the recently concluded Hornbill Carnival Parade 2024, held on December 7, a success.


In a statement, KVYO highlighted that the vibrant event celebrated Nagaland’s rich cultural heritage and would not have been possible without the support of various stakeholders.
KVYO expressed sincere appreciation to Nagaland Government and Tourism department for granting the organization the opportunity to host this prestigious event.


“Your belief in our vision allowed us to create a platform where different communities living in Kohima could come together to celebrate our shared identity and diverse traditions,” Kohima Village Youth Organisation stated.


Kohima Village Youth Organisation also acknowledged the invaluable contribution of Art and Culture department, adding that their efforts in arranging cultural troupes from Kisama enriched the parade and experience for all participants and spectators.


They also thanked the partners– KCCI, Morung Express, VUTO Hyundai, Headlights, Vibesounds, and Cinematixx. Kohima Village Youth Organisation recognized the enthusiasm and participation of local residents and visitors, emphasizing how the spirit of togetherness created a memorable and impactful celebration.


As the organization reflects on the success of the Hornbill Carnival Parade 2024, it expressed a commitment to continue promoting Nagaland’s rich cultural tapestry.
