KWOK general body meeting held

Kidima Women Organisation Kohima (KWOK) held its 7th general body meeting on February 28 at Kidima Community Hall Kohima with Tenyisele Helena Thol as the speaker.
Tenyisele in her message dwelt on the responsibilities of mothers. She said mothers are the “First Teacher” in the family where she educates her children of earthly and moral life. 
An ideal woman should love her husband, nurture and mould her children to become a responsible citizen in the society, she added.
At the programme organisation reports were read out by the general secretary and treasurer. Seven of the oldest women were also accorded honour.
Election of the new Office Bearers was also held where Tsale Yore was elected as president. Around 170 Kidima women participated in the programme. Earlier the programme was chaired by Akrole Ltu, exhortation by Videzole, special song was presented by Lower A.G. colony women and vote of thanks was delivered by Zakietuono Vitso.
