KYC appeals DMC to take immediate measures

Kuda Youth Club (KYC) Dimapur has appealed the competent authority to keep check on the wholesalers regularly in order to sustain the DMC order.

A press release from KYC president Vikeduo Linyü stated that, KYC had held thorough interaction with the business community dealing in essential commodities within the village. KYC stated that it was unjustified to impose the DMC rate of essential commodities when the wholesalers were inflating the price and thereby leading to harassment of business owners by the consumers.

KYC further stated that, if the price hike was beyond the control of the state business structure, the government should take up the issue and address it at appropriate level and spare the public from further misconception and ill will towards the innocent business man. To avoid controversy and misunderstanding, KYC stated that the DMC should take immediate measures.
