KYGK responds to NSCN (R) statement

Responding to March 19 statement of the NSCN (Reformation) president’s office asking Kulolau Yemishe Ghami Kuqhakulu (KYGK) officials to collect the “confessional statements” from the CHQ within 10 days, the KYGK through its president Vihoshe Sema and general secretary Ayeho Z Ayemi informed NSCN (R) president’s office that KYGK was not “an investigative nor a trial agency”, but a union seeking justice from the law enforcing agencies that were competent and well-equipped to handle such cases.

KYGK has, therefore, asserted that going to CHQ to collect “any unofficial confessional documents is not our job but rather we are only asking the concerned law enforcing agency/s to delve deep into the case and conclude the case without any delay or hindrances.”

Appealing to the responsible authority to deliver justice, KYGK said it would continue to stand firm till the case was “given its due share of credibility by virtue of its magnanimity.”

It may be mentioned that Manka Konyank, PA to NSCN (R) president, had stated that Khekato Kinimi was reinstated after the accused, who were now behind bars, revealed through a confessional statement that Khekato was “nowhere involved in the killing of Late Maj. Toishe Yeptho.”
