KYGKK celebrates 25th anniversary

Kulolau Yanzitong Ghami Kughuko Kuqhakulu (KYGKK) celebrated silver jubilee on January 29 at Pihekhu Village, Niuland with Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Niuland, Vitoka Yepthomi as the guest speaker.


A press release by KYGKK stated that in his address, Yepthomi encouraged the gathering to remain rooted in traditions, culture and God.
He urged everyone to remain united and make positive contributions towards society so that there would be all-round progress.


Expressing happiness at being part of the silver jubilee celebration, he said the jubilee celebration was only possible because of God’s enduring grace. Noting that silver jubilee was a time of not only celebration but introspection, Yepthomi called upon everyone to continue to tread on the visionary path laid by the founding members.


Jubilee blessings was invoked by Pihekhu Baptist Church Pastor Rev. Ahovi Achumi. New office bearers were also appointed for the tenure 2024-2026 with Vitohe Chishi as the chairman, Ahokhe Yeptho and Mughavi Awomi as vice chairmen and Simon as the general secretary along with other members.
