Kiruphema Youth Organisation (KYO) Golden Jubilee journey began with prime video released on August 13 at Peducha Council Hall by the composer Keduovitha Hesielie, the song “A Kekhrie Kiruphera” will be the official song for upcoming KYO 50th jubilee celebration to be held in the month of December 2024.
The 50th KYO official song will be available @ Kiruphema Youth Organisation 2023 in YouTube channel.
The exclusive music video release programme was also coincided with the composer 67th birth anniversary. The jubilee song will also take one down memory lane to the classic golden era of Kiruphema village which was vocal by some of the biggest singers like Thenukeneino Dahou and Ketholezo Vielie.
Releasing the song, Hesielie expressed happiness in releasing the first-ever Kiruphema KYO official song. He also aimed to encourage young composers and songwriters who are passionate to follow their dreams despite many struggles of the music industry and vows extending support towards a higher future.
Hesielie, who has been singing for about 40 years, said he has a deep connection with human lives. “When we listen to compassionate songs, we learn to love each other more and realise the need to forgive each other and live in peace”, he added.
He termed music as the best medicine, a morale booster, a teacher and a tool to reach out to people to share one’s thoughts and ideas.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by vice president KYO, Lhouvizolie Vielie, invocation by pastor Peducha Baptist Church, Pecüvilie Kruneilie and the vote of thanks was proposed by president KYO, Kekhrievituo Dahou.
