L Khel Kohima village celebrated silver jubilee celebration-cum-Sekrenyi feast at Merubotsa, Monday. The event was graced by parliamentary secretary Youth Resources and Sports, Music Task Force and State Lotteries, Khriehu Liezietsu as chief guest. Khriehu urged the gathering to continue to uphold the good traditions of the forefathers, through proper conduct of ethics and behavior. Delivering the words of encouragement, DC Dimapur Kesonyü Yhome, cautioned the youngsters to preserve one’s culture and tradition in this fast changing world. He also also urged the gathering the need to revive and regenerate our ecosystem. Welcome address was pronounced by convener organizing committee, Kelhoukhrietuo Tseikha, while vote of thanks by Zapuvizo Liezietsu. Earlier, invocation was pronounced by Rev. Fr. Visosie-o Solomon. The programme was chaired by Kelhouneizo Yhome.
