‘Laal Hit Janta Party’ formed to oppose CJP protests

NEW DELHI, OCT 19 (AGENCIES): The Laal Hit Janta Party has emerged as a satirical counter to the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which is campaigning for Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation.
At a meeting in New Delhi, the outfit opposed CJP demonstrations and urged young citizens to engage in democracy through peaceful protests, factual communication and legal channels.
Convenor Ayan Bhatnagar said the group was not formed to contest elections but to oppose protests it believes could weaken democracy.
It called for electoral debates based on verified evidence, transparent procedures and constitutional mechanisms.
The development comes amid protests alleging irregularities in electoral roll revisions and deletion of voters’ names, claims that remain subject to verification.
